UMPIRE ASSESSMENT FORM
The Provincial Officiating Committee is giving you the opportunity to tell us about our umpires. All club games chairs have been given a copy of the Umpire Assessment form. NOW IT IS AVAILABLE ON-LINE. If you have run or played in a tournament which had an official umpire, please take one minute and fill in this form. Tell us if you thought there were problems with the officiating. Tell us if the umpire was excellent. The POC will take your comments seriously and use them as part of our evaluation of the umpires in BC. Umpire Assessment Form (.doc .pdf) How To Become a Umpire Now you can become an umpire! Know the rules! Watch top-flight bowls and get paid!
There are 3 simple steps to becoming an umpire: 1.) An open-book exam 2.) An oral exam 3.) A measuring test
Our goal is to have at least one umpire in every club in B.C. Contact Nicholas Watkins ( nwatkins23@gmail.com ) for further information and open-book testing. (page updated Jan 20, 2011)
