New Junior Club Hops New Open to anyone ages 8-18, all you need are flat soled shoes(ex:skate shoes) Attendees will receive a different token of participation from each club. Come lawn bowl with juniors from all over the area, you'll be in good company!! Junior lawn bowlers with minutes to several years of experience will be there. We will be keeping track of attendees and activity/game scores to award prizes at the last junior club hop.

| | | Welcome back to junior bowling for 2010! This year we're hoping to give juniors across the province more opportunities than ever to play and hone their skills against kids their own age. If you're either a junior lawn bowler yourself, or have grandkids or other kids that are interested in getting into the game, make sure you know the dates and locations of the tournaments that cater specifically to kids under the age of 19. We look forward to seeing a large increase in junior participation this year across the province, so don't be shy! Tell people about the sport you love to play and get them involved. Once you try it, you're hooked for life. Good luck and good bowling in 2010!
| 'On April 17th, 2010, the Pacific Indoor Bowls Club opened its doors to 21 juniors from the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island for a day of lawn bowling and reconnecting. Juniors from Cowichan LBC, Victoria West LBC, Burnside LBC, Oak Bay LBC, Kennedy Park LBC, Langley LBC, Tsawwassen LBC and from Coquitlam converged on the green to begin the 2010 lawn bowling season in a fun and friendly environment. Bowls BC provided a lunch, and the juniors were mentored during games and skill building drills by volunteers from both the island and the mainland. Thanks go to the parents, coaches, volunteers and PIBC who made this possible. We're looking to build on this successful start to the season and are planning to make this year's BC junior singles championships at Tsawwassen LBC in July a bigger, more popular event than ever before.'
